In 1989, three dogs, two guys and one 59¢ biscuit cutter joined forces to create Three Dog Bakery-the world's original bakery for dogs. Thanks to dog lovers everywhere, we've grown from a bare-bones tabletop beginning to one of the nation's leading producers of the best all-natural foods and treats for dogs.

Three Dog Bakery set the standard for producing ultra premium dog food and treats dedicated to the health and well-being of our furry friends. We select the best quality all natural ingredients to ensure that dogs are healthy and happy. We are committed to slow oven baking. When food is oven-baked it locks in the flavor and nutrients, which is the key to the success of our products.

Three Dog Bakery Franchise Opportunities

We encourage interested candidates to visit a number of Bakeries across the world. A Franchise Agreement between Three Dog Bakery Hong Kong and an individual or group of investors entitles Licensees the right to own and operate locations under the Three Dog Bakery Brand. Consumable products and branded merchandise are purchased through Three Dog Bakery Hong Kong.

The application process is easy and might take 90-120 days to open a store if the individual is motivated. Three Dog Bakery Hong Kong provides guidance and support throughout the build-out process.

Once you have decided to find out more about this unique business venture, you would have to fill out the Franchise Application, Confidential Agreement, and a one-page cover letter on why you are interested in this opportunity.

The Interview and Approval Process

After your application has been processed, reviewed and approved, we will set up a phone interview to answer any questions, to share background information, to explain the Franchise Agreement, the store build-out process and costs, and store site selection.

One-Day Visit

Once the Agreement is made by both parties, a tour to the Three Dog Bakery retail store in Happy Valley to introduce daily operation, and to discuss further regarding site selection, and build-out process.

Opening your First Bakery Location

To assist you opening the Bakery, you will receive assistance from the Three Dog Bakery Design Team and Build-out experts. There are basic standards and guidelines to follow while maintaining a unique feel and charm of its own.

Site Location Approval

Site Selection is usually an important and difficult step for the success of the Bakery. Premier, high-traffic shopping districts are usually suggested. The ideal size is from 500-600 square feet. Once you have found 1-3 potential sites, you will submit site photographs (interior & exterior), photographs of the area, floor plan, site information, and area description for approval. Once you have signed the lease, a Store Design Document and resources materials are sent to facilitate the build-out process.

Pastry & Ops Training

Approximately 4 weeks before the opening of each new Bakery location, the owner/operators and store pastry chefs are invited to the Happy Valley store for a four-day fun but intensive training session.

Store Set-up Training

A couple of days before the opening of the store, the team from Three Dog Bakery will come to your location to review the Pantry baking and decorating techniques, merchandise your store, assist in producing a complete set of product for each bakery Case.
